The SS were the armed wing of the Nazi party. Originally politically motivated, the SS were fantical and extreme. Touted as Hitlers teutonic knights and also as ruthless killers by various historians. The original SS mindset of a pure political motivated soldier was diluted as the Wermacht became more and more desperate for troops as the war progressed. Famous for the camo smock and deaths head insignia; these troops can add punch to any German attack, or the famous SS counter attack! The BAM range of SS will be bulked out through 2006. This will not be a major range like the German Heer packs, but we'll cover the basics. A lot of our standard German army figures will work as SS in field dress, you just need to paint an eagle on the left arm. Most of the time the breast eagle is obscured. Adding a cuff title can also help to distinguish SS from standard heer. Next up are rifles and a mortar team.
